Before you order
Photos that help us see your pet clearly.
A clear reference photo helps your artist understand your pet’s expression, markings, proportions, and personality.
You do not need a professional camera. Soft daylight, a steady phone, and several honest angles are usually all you need.
Choose your keepsake
The essentials
Four things make a useful reference.
Soft daylight
Photograph near a window or outdoors in open shade, without harsh flash or colored lighting.
Sharp eyes and face
Tap your pet’s eyes on the phone screen so their expression and facial markings stay in focus.
Several angles
Include front, left, right, and back views plus close-ups of special markings.
A familiar pose
For figurines, include a full-body photo showing the pose and proportions you would like.
Please include
Your best reference set
- One clear, front-facing favorite photo
- Side views showing both ears and coat pattern
- Close-ups of eyes, nose, paws, and unique markings
- A full-body pose reference for three-dimensional figurines
- Notes about details that may not be obvious in photographs
Try to avoid
Photos that hide important details
- Heavy filters, screenshots, or compressed social-media images
- Dark rooms, strong backlight, or bright flash reflections
- Blurred motion or photos taken from very far away
- Accessories covering the ears, face, chest, or markings
- Wide-angle close-ups that distort the nose or body shape
After checkout
Not sure whether your photos are enough?
Start with the clearest image you have. After your order, your artist can contact you if another angle, measurement, or detail would help.
