Everyday care
Four simple habits.
Keep it dry
Do not wash, soak, steam, or spray the wool. Display away from bathrooms and damp areas.
Avoid strong sun
Long exposure to direct sunlight or heat may fade colors and affect the wool over time.
Dust gently
Use a clean, soft brush or cool, low-pressure air from a safe distance. Never rub the surface.
Handle the base
Lift framed work by the frame and figurines by their base or body—not by ears, paws, or tail.
Framed portraits
Display with support.
- Use a secure hook or a stable shelf suited to the frame’s weight
- Keep away from open windows, cooking steam, and air vents
- Dust the frame separately with a dry, soft cloth
- Do not press or brush the sculpted face inside the frame
Figurines
Protect the silhouette.
- Place on a stable surface away from the edge
- Keep out of reach of pets and young children
- Do not repeatedly bend adjustable details
- Use a covered display case for the best dust protection
Storage and help
When your keepsake is not on display.
Wrap it loosely in clean, acid-free tissue and store it upright in a sturdy box in a cool, dry place. Do not compress the wool. If a detail is bent, loose, or damaged, contact us before attempting a repair.
